Volunteering

Englehart & Area Fund Committee

We are currently seeking one individual who lives in Englehart or the surrounding area to join our Englehart & Area Fund Committee.  This committee meets twice a year (beginning of April and beginning of October) to review applications to the Englehart & Area Fund and make recommendations for recipients of grants from this fund. 

Kirkland Lake & Area Fund committee

We are currently seeking three individuals who live in Kirkland Lake or the surrounding area to join our Kirkland Lake & Area Fund Committee.  This committee meets twice a year (beginning of April and beginning of October) to review applications to the Kirkland Lake & Area Fund and make recommendations for recipients of grants from this fund. 

Historic Cobalt Legacy Fund committee

We are currently seeking one individual who lives in Cobalt or the surrounding area to join our Historic Cobalt Legacy Fund Committee.  This committee meets twice a year (beginning of April and beginning of October) to review applications to the Historic Cobalt Legacy Fund and make recommendations for recipients of grants from this fund. 

Community Fund committee

We are currently seeking two individuals who reside anywhere within the Timiskaming District to join our Community Fund Committee.  This committee meets twice a year (beginning of April and beginning of October) to review applications to the Community Fund and make recommendations for recipients of grants from this fund.  This committee is a larger time commitment than our other grant committees.

Fund Development committee

We are currently seeking two individuals who reside anywhere within the Timiskaming District to join our Fund Development Committee.  This committee, reporting to the Community Impact Committee, meets two-three times a year to assist in building the Foundation by securing donations and the development of new funds. This committee will require a substantial time commitment to become familiar with the Foundation's fund structures and policies.

Community impact committee

We are currently seeking one individual who resides anywhere within the Timiskaming District to join our Community Impact Committee.  This committee meets up to four times a year to set priorities and strategic direction for leveraging tools for impact including grants, fund development, marketing and
community development activities. This committee will require a substantial time commitment to become familiar with the Foundation's policies, mission and guiding principles.
