The Temiskaming Foundation is more than a granting organization. We are a place for the community to come together to celebrate those making our communities an even better places to live and to support the individuals and organizations dedicated to this purpose. We do this by hosting events throughout the year to educate, to honour and to gather together all those committed to our communities.
GRANT PRESENTATION EVENT
Each spring, we host an event to celebrate the organizations receiving annual and spring grants in the current year and to honour the hard-working volunteers that and staff that make our local community organizations the pride of the Timiskaming District.
Volunteer symposium
We are proud to announce that we are co-hosting a Volunteer Symposium with the Temiskaming Shores & Area Chamber of Commerce. The educational sessions during the day will include: Social Media/Marketing, Event Planning, Volunteer Management, Board Governance and a Funders Forum. Local organizations and volunteers sharing their experience with you. The Volunteer Fair in the evening will feature local organizations looking for volunteers. Come join us to learn how you can contribute to your community!

Breakfast & Learn
On November 5th, we gathered together a group of local professionals: lawyers, accountants, financial advisors, to discuss the importance of philanthropy in tax and estate planning. Our next Breakfast and Learn will take place in 2027.
