A fund established by George Morissette to support Parkinson's disease research and education.

FUND HIGHLIGHTS

George Morissette was a very involved community member. He was a businessman, Haileybury Town Council member, and board director for many service clubs. When diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, George founded a Parkinson’s exercise group in Haileybury. Established in 2005 by George Morissette, the income from this Fund is directed to the Parkinson Fund of Canada for the purpose of research and education.

There are significant tax advantages to donating securities.  There are two options: work directly with our Executive Director, which will significantly reduce the fees deducted from your donation.  ttf@temiskamingfoundation.ca or 705-647-1055.

There is always the option to mail your donation to the Temiskaming Foundation office.  Please make the cheque out to "The Temiskaming Foundation" and add the name of the Fund you are donating to on the memo line.
