FUND HIGHLIGHTS
This fund was originally created in 2012 to honour the life of Michael P. Uttley by his family. Michael was born and raised in the Tri-town area and unfortunately lost his battle to cancer at the age of 60. Michael was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone, embodying what an integral part of the community should be. In his free time he could be seen fundraising money to help local youth sports as well as being involved with minor hockey and baseball.
The fund was renamed in 2024 after the passing of Susan Uttley. Susan was born in Haileybury and worked at Scotiabank for 37 years. She cherished every moment she could spend with her family and adored her grandchildren and her fur-grandson Bodie.
The income from this fund grants to the Community Fund.
